The High History of the Holy Graal
The High History of the Holy Graal was written by an unknown author, and is considered to be one of the least–canonical of the Arthurian romances. Nevertheless, it does introduce some characters who would go on to become common in later romances, such as King Claudas, Meliant and the Questing Beast. It should not be confused with the more popular Quest of the Holy Grail.
